Is BharaKhata really free?

The app is free to start, and tenants never pay — ever. The owner pays a small per-door fee as they grow, and even that's free up to 4 tenants. One buyer per building; the whole building joins free.

How do you verify tenants?

Through a four-tier trust badge — Bronze (phone) → Silver (NID) → Gold (live selfie) → Platinum (police clearance). Verification and badges are rolling out over the next 6–12 months; the ledger and payments are fully live today.

Do I need to be technical to use it?

No. The whole app is in Bangla (and English), sign-in is a one-time SMS code with no passwords, and setup is three steps. Caretakers use it daily with zero training.

Sign-in is passwordless phone-OTP, every payment is logged with photo proof, and the record is yours — export your full ledger as CSV anytime.

Is it available on iPhone?

Does it file the police (DMP) form automatically?

Automatic DMP house-information filing and police-clearance checks are on our 6–12 month roadmap. We label what's live versus what's coming, on purpose.
